Founded in New Delhi in 2012 by Capt. S.K. Chaudhary, ex-Master Mariner. India’s first and oldest supplier of armed maritime security personnel for vessel transits through High Risk Areas. Over 10,000 transits. Zero weapon incidents on record.

Mission

We recruit, train, and deploy elite Indian and Nepali maritime security officers to protect commercial assets at sea. Our men are sourced from military and law enforcement communities, and we maintain the highest standards of selection, training, and professional conduct in the industry.

History

Thirteen Years of Operation

2012

Established in New Delhi

Founded by Capt. S.K. Chaudhary. First deployments to the Gulf of Aden. IPM becomes India’s first dedicated supplier of armed MSOs for HRA transits.

2013 – 2016

Infrastructure Built

Recruitment and training regime formalised. Guard deployment pipeline to floating armouries established. Compliance documentation developed.

2017 – 2019

Expanded Scope

Expansion into Nepali Gurkha guard supply. Cruise ship security contracts established. Land-based security operations in Afghanistan.

2020 – 2022

COVID‑19 and Refocus

Cruise ship operations suspended. IPM refocuses entirely on maritime security manpower — its founding purpose.

2025

13 Years of Operation

Over 10,000 vessel transits completed without a major incident. Active engagement with new PMSC partners. Compliance infrastructure formalised.

Capt. S.K. Chaudhary

Founder & Managing Director

Ex-Master Mariner with a career at sea before founding IPM in 2012. Capt. Chaudhary built the company on the operational standards he would have demanded as a vessel master — rigorous personnel selection, consistent training, and a genuine understanding of what security teams need to function on board.

Mark Chaudhary

Director

Responsible for business development, client relations, and strategic direction. Mark brings a rich background in software technologies and arts. He also serves as Managing Director of Regis Maritime Security (Dubai), and handles technology, commercial development, and compliance.

Mahesh Gupta

Senior Operations Manager

An MBA professional in Operations and Intelligence Technologies with over 16 years of experience in security staffing and manpower. Mahesh joined IPM in 2013 and has since built the operational infrastructure behind every deployment — client relationships, workforce management, and large-scale logistics.

Farhan Khan

Senior HR, Recruitment & Training Manager

Over 14 years of experience in maritime security HR and operations. Farhan oversees personnel recruitment, training coordination, documentation management, and deployment planning. His work is the direct foundation of IPM’s personnel quality — every guard who deploys has passed through his process.

Vivek Gupta

Senior Accounts Executive

Nine years of experience in financial management, corporate accounting, and compliance. Vivek leads IPM’s accounting operations — financial reporting, tax compliance, and the financial processes that underpin a company operating across international deployments.
